BUG is an Amsterdam based trio formed in the beginning of 2016. Following the tradition of bands like Husker Dü and Nirvana, their style can be described as a mix of raunchy punk-rock and experimental melodic pop. As music platform Never Mind The Hype puts it: “fuzz punking psych-rock”. End of 2021 long time bass player Martijn Klippel left the band and Bert van der Zee joined to play bass. Other members are Vincent de Bel (guitars/vox) and Klaas Dijkstra (drums).
