Labasheeda live @ NXNE in 2009
Back in 2009 Labasheeda was invited to play at the North by Northeast festival, so they decided to book some more shows in Canada and do their first tour outside of Europe. Exciting times! Labasheeda was a quartet at that moment, but unfortunately the bassist couldn’t make it, because he lost his passport shortly before we were about to leave.
The band did two shows in Toronto, which were both filmed by Aldo Erdic. He edited a live video for one of the songs we they at a club called Sneaky Dee’s, but the set during NXNE remained in the Labasheeda vaults. Until now, because the complete performance at Neutral is now available on their YouTube-channel.
